Bezbojni plin koji nastaje tijekom postupka sagorijevanja, poput onih u vozilima i elektranama.
Dušikov dioksid (NO2)
Zagađivač za koji su najviše odgovorna vozila te tvornička postrojenja doprinosi respiratornim problemima.
Sumporov dioksid (SO2)
Nastaje zbog sagorijevanja fosilnih goriva u elektranama i drugim tvorničkim postrojenjima, a može uzrokovati respiratorne i druge zdravstvene probleme.
Ugljikov monoksid (CO)
Bezbojni, bezmirisni plin koji nastaje sagorijevanjem fosilnih goriva može biti smrtonosan u visokim koncentracijama.
Ugljikov dioksid (CO2)
CO2 senzori mjere koncentraciju ugljičnog dioksida u zraku, što može ukazivati na učinkovitost ventilacije u zatvorenom prostoru i popunjenosti u njima.
Metan (CH4)
Snažan staklenički plin koji se oslobađa iz stočarstva, upravljanja otpadom i proizvodnje prirodnog plina. CH4 doprinosi klimatskim promjenama i može neizravno utjecati na kvalitetu zraka kroz stvaranje ozona
Amonijak (NH3)
Ispušta se iz poljoprivrednih aktivnosti i industrijskih procesa, a NH3 može reagirati s drugim onečišćivačima i stvarati fine čestice, što utječe na kvalitetu zraka i zdravlje dišnog sustava.
Sumporovodik(H2S)
Poznat po karakterističnom mirisu pokvarenih jaja, H2S se oslobađa iz industrijskih aktivnosti i prirodnih izvora te predstavlja rizik za dišni sustav pri povišenim koncentracijama.
