Zašto biste trebali mjeriti razinu buke u zraku?

U određenim situacijama mogu nas ometati, smanjiti nam koncentraciju ili čak, u slučaju da je iznimno visoka, naštetiti našem zdravlju. Kad se to dogodi, zvuk postaje neželjena buka koja loše utječe na nas.

osoba u EU izložena je dugoročnim štetnim razinama buke. Zdravstveni problemi povezani s tim izložnostima uključuju iritaciju, poremećaje spavanja te kardiovaskularne i metaboličke probleme.
Zagađenje bukom ima značajan utjecaj i na ljudsko zdravlje i na okoliš.

Učinci na zdravlje ljudi:
1. Problemi sa sluhom
Dugotrajna izloženost visokim razinama buke može rezultirati oštećenjem ili čak gubitkom sluha.
2. Problemi sa spavanjem
Zagađenje bukom može poremetiti obrasce spavanja, što može uzrokovati nesanicu.
3. Kardiovaskilarni problemi
Kontinuirana izloženost buci može rezultirati povišenim krvnim tlakom, srčanim udarima i drugim kardiovaskularnim bolestima.
4. Mentalno zdravlje
Stalna izloženosti buci može uzrokovati stres, anksioznost i depresiju, negativno utječući na opće zdravlje i stanje ljudi
5. Kognitivni problemi
velike razine buke mogu narušiti koncentraciju, pamćenje i sposobnosti učenja, osobito kod djece.
6. Tinnitus
Stalna izloženost buci može rezultirati tinitusom, šumom ili zujanjem u ušima.

Zagađenje bukom smeta životinjama u komunikaciji, ritualima parenja i navigaciji, a sve to može rezultirati njihovim manjim brojem.
2. Neravnoteža ekosustava
Promjene u ponašanju životinja zbog buke mogu utjecati na odnose grabežljivaca i plijena, čime se poremećuje složeni i osjetljivi ekosustav.
3. Manja biološka raznolikost
Osjetljive vrste životinja zbog buke mogu napustiti bučna staništa, time smanjujući biološku raznolikost i mijenjajući prirodnu ravnotežu.
Što uzrokuje zvučno onečišćenje?
